If you want something cross platform, even just in the Apple-sphere, then I would say TextExpander is a contender, otherwise it’s a balance against what you’ve got … but I’d place Keyboard Maestro closer to TextExpander functionality than Alfred and would opt for the former for text expansion if choosing between those two.

It's an 'auto typing' software which stores text shortcuts to your. Windows users did not have a 'typinator' for PC, but now we have AutoText, which is a 'typinator for windows'. It allows you to type an abbreviation and the program expand it to a common phrase. With Typinator, I find it is lighter and faster than PhraseExpress, however PE is much more powerful in terms of autotext with keyboard shortcut, auto-complete. TextExpander saves your fingers and your keyboard, expanding custom keyboard shortcuts into frequently-used text and pictures.

Inserts whatever you just copied on the Clipboard (Cmd+C on Mac, Ctrl+C on Windows) into your snippet when expanded. Alfred is a fantastic application and my Mac wouldn’t be the same without it.
